World Translation A/S takes next important step to conquer the German market

Stefan Weniger,
Senior Business Development Manager

From day one in 2005, when Ib Brandt Jørgensen founded World Translation A/S, the company has enjoyed constant growth. World Translation has supplied translation and other language services to export businesses all over the world for over 12 years. As part of World Translation’s growth strategy covering the present period to 2020, the company believes that the next step is to expand its presence in Germany. 60% of World Translation’s turnover is already generated in Germany, so the company is already well established in the German market.

As part of its growth strategy, World Translation appointed Stefan Weniger as its Senior Business Development Manager on 1 March 2018. Stefan’s primary focus will be the DACH region, and he will therefore have a fixed base in South Germany to ensure he is always available for consultation with new and existing customers.
Stefan has more than 15 years of experience in B2B sales and business development, and he also has experience in the translation industry. Stefan is highly customer-oriented and very dedicated to delivering the best customer and consultancy service to companies with regard to their language requirements.

We believe that an increased presence in Germany is a natural progression. Not simply because it moves us closer to new potential customers, it also moves us closer to our existing customers. We have many customers in Germany, and it’s important for us that we are physically close to where they are,” says World Translation CEO, Ib Brandt Jørgensen.

World Translation supplies high-quality translations and the company knows which competencies are required to be able to support German export companies’ needs.

We have more than 12 years of experience in providing translations to German export companies, which means we know we have the competencies, the necessary knowledge and the correct service portfolio to be able to supply high-quality language services to German export companies,” says World Translation CEO, Ib Brandt Jørgensen.

Proof that World Translation has the competencies required was confirmed in 2017, when the company won the tender to supply language services to the world’s third-largest supplier of forklift trucks. World Translation provides all of the translation, DTP, proofreading, review, voiceover, terminology management and language consultancy services, dealing with over 100 language combinations for the global forklift supplier. This goes to show that World Translation can provide translation and other language services not only to small and medium-sized companies, but also to major global companies.
