World Translation employs about 35 people at our office in Tilst, Aarhus, and is part of EasyTranslate Group, which also has locations in Copenhagen and Skopje, Macedonia. Student worker position
As a student worker at World Translation, no two days will be the same, and each will be filled with lots of exciting and challenging tasks. As a student worker, your main task is to help our project managers and DTP-team with the following tasks:
linguistic and formal quality assurance of translations
layout check of translations
technical preparation of files for translation
maintenance of translation and terminology databases
other odd jobs
Who are you?
We imagine that you are currently working toward a university degree, ideally in languages or communication. It is a prerequisite that you speak English, and if you speak other languages, especially Danish and German, it is an advantage.
Furthermore, we hope that you:
generally have a good understanding of languages. Bilingualism and multilingualism are advantageous.
have a flair for IT and can quickly learn new programs.
are a team player and have a positive attitude.
work in a structured way and can quickly learn new tasks.
Working hours
The job is a part-time position with approximately 10-15 hours per week and an hourly wage. The working hours are generally between 8.00 and 16.30, but there will also be opportunities to work in the evenings or on weekends.
